Your first 15-30 minute Introductory Zoom call is for you to get to know us, our practice and to help you know if we are a good fit for you. Having confidence in us is important to your healing journey. We don’t want to be careless with your hard earned time and financial resources.

Your Initial Consultation is 2 hour in-depth appointment designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of your health history, current symptoms, health goals, lifestyle, and any relevant previous laboratory testing. Based on this review and our discussion, additional laboratory testing may be recommended.

We are an integrative functional practice.

While Dr. Shoemaker is a world leader that we have studied with and learned from, there is always new and emerging information.

Although we adhere to the protocol, we also adapt and add new recommendations and always practice with functional healthcare principals and integrate many different modalities in our treatment recommendations so that you begin to heal well from the inside.

We are constantly thinking outside the box for each individual patient and your needs. We also believe often there is more than just mold to Chronic Complex Mystery Illness that we must tease out.

Yes, we are a tele-health only practice. We are licensed in 8 states.

You MUST be present in the state that we are licensed in.

Divine by Design Health is a cash-pay practice and does not bill commercial insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid for services.

By offering cash-pay care, we can prioritize our time and focus more fully on caring for our patients without the administrative requirements associated with insurance billing.

HSA and FSA funds may be used when eligible, depending on your individual plan and whether functional or alternative medicine services qualify as covered expenses. We recommend confirming eligibility with your HSA/FSA administrator.

We provide a Superbill for our services so you can submit to HSA/FSA or Sharing Plans.

Sharing Plans may or may not cover our services. Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM) is one that does not cover outside of conventional healthcare and can deny any labs or other testing ordered in conjunction with our services.

Labs and imaging may be billed through insurance, however with tightening standards we never promise these will be covered. Often are covered. If you are cash pay, we can offer some discounted companies who charge a fraction of what they bill insurance.

It is up to you as a patient to contact your sharing plan or insurance to make sure labs, imaging, sleep studies, etc are covered by your plan.
